Beverly Ann Miller Johnson

January 19, 1956 — August 21, 2026

Beverly Ann Miler was born on January 19, 1956 in Bogalusa to The Fannie Marie White and Charles Johnson both of Bogalusa, LA; raise by her grandparents Jon and Myrtle James.

Beverly received her education at Bogalusa High School, where she was a member of the band. After graduating Beverly went on to pursue a long and promising career as a CAN taking care of over 30 years. She was well known around town as the woman who decorated her yard for every holiday which brought joy to many all around town.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Rhonda (Duane) Johnson, Trina Miller, Trakemia (Broderick) Chatman, and Andrelia Miller all of Bogalusa, LA; twelve grand-children, Omika (Kaye) Walker, Mikrus Miller, Greg Johnson, Trinesheya (Ricardo) Morris, Jr., Drakus Johnson, Damion Johnson, Shadeidrion Mille, Lynaricka Scott, Broderick Chatmon Jr., Yasmin Chatmon; special grandchild, Katrina Jackson; Goddaughters, Omisha, Tammy, Yosha; And a host great grandkids; twin brother and sister, Janice(Darlene) and Justin James; a brother, Kevin Johnson; a sister, Vanessa Jordan; three sister/ cousins, Kathy James, Marilyn (Clayton) Wilson, and Joan James; a big sister/auntie, Brenda Williams; a big brother/uncle, Jerry (Eloria) James; auntie, Rhonda St. Clair; uncle, John (Joyce) James; special sister- in -law, Sylvian ( James) Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie White; father, Charles Johnson; grandparents, John and Myrtle James; four uncles, Willie, Jerome, Michael, Lawerence, James; three aunties, Ruth, Carolyn, and Mary; a brother, Lonnie, and a special cousin, Sean.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 12:00PM - 2:00PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00PM at St. Paul AME Church 420 Church St, Bogalusa, LA 70427,  with Rev. Kerry James - Officiating. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
