Stella Mae Blunt

February 4, 1951 — August 16, 2026

Stella Blunt was born February 4th, 1951 to Virgie Lee Conerly and J. D. Pittman in Franklinton, LA.

Stella was the only girl with 3 brothers: Bobby “Billy” Conerly (who preceded her in death), Johnny (Sandra) Conerly and Ricky Conerly.

Stella graduated from Franklinton High School and moved to Chicago where she met and married, David Blunt (preceded her in death) and had 2 children in Chicago.

Stella leaves behind Christopher Pernell Blunt, Sr. and Chrishonne Denise Blunt; She also leaves to mourn her 12 grandchildren, Kendria Lashae Helm, Kenyon Xavier Helm, Kanaan Keshaun Blunt, Melvin Douglas Helm, Jr. (preceded her in death), Leandra Elizabeth Rogers, Xavier Lyons, Mikayla Imanin Blunt, Kamari Frazier, Kristina Ebony Blunt, Christopher Pernell Blunt, Jr., Kairo David Dviri Blunt, and Egypt Rove Ronni Blunt; seven great grandchildren, Zamira Lyons, Makavion Rogers, Marquel Rogers, Zatari Lyons, Katalina Rogers, Zahir Lyons and Xavier Lyons, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Donna Blunt (Terry Blunt deceased). We ask that you keep us all in your prayers as we will also keep you in our prayers.

The Funeral Service  will be held at 11:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home 2000 Washington Street Franklinton, LA 70438. Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
