Obituary

Jason Dorman Miller

August 10, 1973 - September 18, 2026

Jason Dorman Miller, age 53 and a resident of Mount Hermon, passed away Friday September 18, 2026 at North Oaks Medical Center after a year-long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Tylertown on August 10, 1973 and was a Class of 1992 graduate of Mount Hermon High School. Jason was a dairy farmer for many years, dedicating his time and hard work to a way of life he knew and loved. He was a hardworking, selfless man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand.

No matter who needed something, Jason was always there. Whether it was a helping hand, a favor, or simply being there when someone needed him, Jason gave freely of himself and never complained. He never expected anything in return. His generosity, kindness, and willingness to help others were a true reflection of the man he was. He leaves behind a legacy of love and countless memories of the lives he touched.

Jason is survived by his sister, Julie McKee; his niece, Hannah McKee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorman Miller and Marjorie Gill Miller; his brother, Jeffery Dean Miller; and his grandparents, Ollie and Agnes Miller and William and Audie Gill.

Jason’s suffering is now over, and he is at peace in a much better place. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”— Revelation 21:4

Rest in peace, Jason. Your suffering is over, and you are forever loved and never forgotten.

A memorial service for his family and friends will be planned in the near future.
