Franklinton Mayor & Board of Aldermen Agenda for Sept. 9th

On the Agenda are

• The Board will vote to enter into an intergovernmental agreement between Washington Parish Government and the Franklinton Fire Department for the use of federal opioid litigation settlement funds.

• The Board will vote to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement between the Town of Franklinton and the State of Louisiana for the expenditure of the Act 3 of 2026 funds awarded for purchase of a tractor and equipment.

• The Board will vote to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement between the Town of Franklinton and the State of Louisiana for the expenditure of the Act 3 of 2026 funds awarded for additions to the Bogue Chitto landing.

• The Board will vote to adopt a resolution supporting the consideration of Greenleaf for landscape architectural services for the Bogue Chitto Riverfront Development.

• The Board will vote to enter executive session to discuss personnel matters.

• The Board will vote to hire a dispatcher for the Police Department.

• The Board will vote to hire 3 reserve officers for the Police Department.

• The Board will vote to introduce an ordinance to update the water rates and provide for an annual increase to the rates charged by the Town.
