Franklinton Police Chief Justin Brown has reported that on Wednesday (September 30, 2026), the
Franklinton Police Department arrested 48-year-old Jeremy Kendrick McKenzie of Angie, Louisiana for Prohibited Sexual Conduct between educator and student (1 count), Intimidating, impeding or injuring witnesses, and and Injuring officers (1 count).
McKenzie was turned over to the Washington Parish Jail. Bond was set at $10,000.00 and McKenzie bonded out shortly after being booked.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
This comes just weeks after McKenzie was arrested and accused of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
