Washington Parish Government is accepting applications for a full-time Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Applicants should possess the knowledge and skills to:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on tractors, graders, loaders, paving equipment, bush hogs, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and pickup trucks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and computer-related failures.
- Work independently and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively and professionally.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Automotive and/or Diesel certifications preferred.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience preferred.
