George Robert “Robbie” Stevens a lifetime resident of Franklinton, La. passed away on July 28, 2026 at the age of 78.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Eleanor C. Stevens; his brother-in-law and best friend, Harold Corkern; and his nephew, Scott C. Stevens.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, June Corkern Stevens of Franklinton, La; his brother, Philip W. Stevens (Hope) of Mobile, AL; Sister-in-law, Judy C. Ashe (Albert) of Franklinton, La; niece, Abbie Corkern; nephew, Travis P. Stevens (DeAnna) of Mobile, AL; great niece, Alexandra “Lexi” Stevens of Mobile, AL; great nephew, Nicholas “Nick” Stevens (Ashley) of Mobile, AL and 2 great-great nephews, Elijah Travis Stevens and Jensen Christopher Stevens of Mobile, AL.
George will always be remembered for his gentle and loving spirit. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, so until the day we meet again, we will hold you in our hearts.
