Verlie Ann Davis Williams

July 29, 1943 - August 18, 2026

Verlie Ann Davis Williams, age 83 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away early Tuesday morning August 18, 2026 at Good Samaritan Living Center. She worked at Rutter Rex in Franklinton for many years before retiring. Verlie loved spending time outside, drinking coffee on the porch or just sitting under the canopy enjoying the breeze. She liked to complete puzzles and word searches and loved playing Bingo with her family and friends. Verlie and her husband traveled often while he drove his truck cross-country and they always enjoyed vacationing in Tennessee. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister that will be forever missed by her loved ones.

Survived by: Daughter and Son in law: Tammy and David Kehoe of Franklinton; Son: Ronnie Williams of Franklinton; Grandchildren: Josh Williams and his wife Stephanie, whom she raised like her own son, Cody Williams, Jessica Williams, Cole Kehoe; 3 Great-grandchildren: Addy Williams, Barrett Williams, Kadyn Jenkins; Sisters and Brothers in law: Sandy and Mickey Lee, Betty and Bit Brewer, Mary Nell Ryals; Brother and Sister in law: Rodney and Glenda Davis; Also numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Ronald Ellis Williams, parents Samford Davis and Mackie Givens Davis and many other family members.

A graveside funeral service for family and friends will be held in the Williams Cemetery at 10:00 am Saturday August 22nd .
