Tammy Rester Creel

November 18, 1959 - August 22, 2026

Tammy Rester Creel, age 66, peacefully passed away at her home on Saturday, August 22, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones following a brief health battle.

Born on November 18, 1959, in Bogalusa, Louisiana, Tammy was the daughter of the late Thomas Arthur Rester and Virgie Davis. She attended the Robert School of Beauty, where she earned her license as a cosmetologist. She spent many years working in the beauty industry, where she delighted in reinventing her look and helping others feel their best.

Tammy shared 28 wonderful years with her life partner and best friend, Michael “Mike” Craddock. Together, they raised children, welcomed grandchildren, great-grandchildren, traveled, and built a wonderful life filled with love and cherished memories.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Virgie Davis; father, Thomas Rester; and her brother, Ray Rester.

Left to forever cherish her memory are her partner of 28 years, Michael Craddock; her children, Kelly Creel, Sabrina (Drew) Vicari, and April (Ray) Head; her grandchildren, Tyler Thomas, Abby Thomas, Tim Thomas, Zachary Thigpen, Katelyn Thigpen, Brayden Vicari, Brantly Vicari, Aliyah Sumrall, Annalyce Sumrall, and Addley Moore; her great-grandchildren, Cayden, Kalvin, Zoey, Luka, Aven, and Anistyn; along with her sister, Diane (Mike) Sanders. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren in love: Benton (Amanda) Craddock (Bree, Morgan, and Carley), Brady Craddock (Rylie and Skylar), and Traci (Danny) Munizza (Maddy). Tammy opened her heart and home to everyone, serving as a second mom and Mawmaw to many.

Friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home.

Funeral services, officiated by Reverend Bruce Morris, will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, beginning at noon. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the service begins. Burial will immediately follow in her final resting place, Pounds Cemetery, with Jeremy Williamson, Danny Munizza, Tim Thomas, Brennan LeJeune, Jordan Perry, and Cody Graham serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Michael "Mike" Craddock, Drew Vicari, and Ray Head.
