Tropical Storm Bertha is located (as of 7AM today, July 21, 2026) about 175 miles southeast of Mobile, Alabama and moving northwest at 5 MPH with 50 MPH maximum sustained winds. A slow northwestward to west-northwestward motion is expected today followed by a turn toward the west by the middle part of this week. Some slight strengthening is possible later today, followed by gradual weakening through the middle of this week. This storm is forecast to be very lopsided with most of the rain and strong winds on the southern side of the storm. Any minor impacts to our area will be Wednesday through Thursday morning.
