Johnnie Lee Jones

Mr. Johnnie Lee Jones passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the age of 80. He was born in in Bogalusa, Louisiana on June 26, 1946 to Lee and Ruby Jones. Affectionately known by his family as "Uncle Johnny", he will be remembered as a gentle man with a great sense of humor who loved to make people smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Jones; brothers, JD Roberts, Ocie Blackburn and Earl Jones Sr., and his sister, Willie C. Shilling.
Johnnie is survived by two nieces, Nancy (Daron) Jones and Deborah (Buddy) Wallace; a host of nieces and nephews; extended family and friends; and his special friends, Ronnie and Cheryl Comans.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 9-11am. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Randall Garcia, will begin at 11:00am with interment to follow in Hillview Memorial Gardens.
