Over the past month, the Pearl River County MS Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division, along with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, conducted an investigation on 32-year-old Jeremy Schwartz of Carriere, MS, for allegedly selling marijuana throughout St. Tammany Parish and Pearl River County.
On June 26, 2026, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Jeremy Schwartz with a distribution quantity of Marijuana.
At that time, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division obtained and executed a search warrant at Schwartz’s residence, with assistance from the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department Patrol Division.
Upon arriving at the residence, deputies made contact with 34-year-old Blake Goode and 31-year-old Breanne Mitchell, both of Carriere, MS. Both individuals were detained while a search of the residence was conducted. During the search, investigators discovered and seized approximately 14.8 pounds of Marijuana, several firearms, and a large amount of cash.
As a result of the investigation, Goode and Mitchell were taken into custody and transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Center, where they were booked and incarcerated on charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance. A hold was placed on Schwartz, who is currently incarcerated at the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center. Upon his release, he will be transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Center to face charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance.

Pearl River County Sheriff David Allison would like to thank the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office for working closely with his department to help keep drugs off the streets. He would also like to thank the members of his department for their swift response and continued efforts in combating illegal drug activity within the community.
