Betty Ann Brown

July 9, 1958 — May 28, 2026

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Ms. Betty Ann Brown, AKA Betty Boop, of Franklinton, LA, departed her life at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond, LA at the age of 67, on May 26, 2026, at 5:30PM. As always, Pee Wee was right there by her side. Betty was 1 of 10 Children born to the late Mary L. Topps Brown and the late Otis Brown, on July 9, 1958.

Betty was a very dedicated Mother and Grandmother and would give her last for their happiness.

Betty graduated from Franklinton High School. She completed her horticultural training at Sullivan Vocational Technical Institute. She worked several years at Rutter Rex where made many friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons Jermaine Brown of Franklinton, LA., Zarius J. Brown, of Franklinton, LA and Tumicheal L. Brown of Carencro, LA; A Special Thanks for a long fulfilling life with her significant other, Robert J. Warren. three brothers, Johnny O. Brown of Seattle, Washington, Dan (Zaddie) L. Brown, of Franklinton La. and Keefer W. Brown, of Ponchatoula, La.; three sisters, Gennitt L. GaGalindo, of Honolulu, Hawaii, Janice M. Brown, of Folsom, California and Mary (Jonn) J. Corrigan of Sacramento, California. She is also survived by three grandchildren Zarius J. Brown, Jr., Isabella Magee and Zory Brown; and a host of Nieces, Nephews Cousins and Friends. She will long be remembered by those of us who knew and loved her.

Betty Brown was preceded in death by one son Tunichael N. Brown; one brother Ivory Brown; two sisters, Mrs. Joyce M. Henderson and Bessie M Bickham. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home 2000 Washington Street Franklinton, LA 70438.
