Marianne Hunt Bennett

May 6, 1957 – June 4, 2026

Marianne Hunt Bennett, lovingly known to many as Mary, passed away peacefully at her home on June 4, 2026, at the age of 69.

Marianne loved her family and was devoted to those she cared about. Throughout her life, she selflessly cared for family members during times of illness and need, always willing to provide support when it mattered most. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews. She will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis “Sonny” Bennett; her parents, William and Marie Hunt; and her brother-in-law, Edward Gomez.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Hunt; her grandchildren, Seth Crain and Megan Hunt; her brother, Shelton (Cheryle) Hunt; her sisters, Lynn (Denton) Jenkins, Cathy (Larry) Willis, and Theresa Gomez; as well as her nieces and nephews.

Marianne’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her family finds comfort in the cherished memories they shared and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those closest to her.
