On Tuesday (June 23, 2026), officers with the Franklinton Police Department conducted a traffic stop within the city limits limits that resulted in the arrest of two individuals on narcotics and firearm-related charges.
LaBrandun O'Neill Crosby, age 39 and of Franklinton was charged with Disobeying a Stop Sign, Driving Under Suspension, Possession of Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substances, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance While in Possession of a Firearm, and Two Counts of Resisting an Officer by Flight.
Tessie Taylor, age 32 and of Bogalusa was arrested and charged with Simple Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance in the Presence of a Firearm.
Both individuals were transported to the Washington Parish Jail and booked on the above charges.
The Franklinton Police Department remains committed to proactively enforcing narcotics laws and protecting the citizens of Franklinton through proactive patrol and enforcement efforts.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
