David Miley
November 28, 1970 - April 23, 2026
David Miley, age 55, passed away at Our Lady of the Angels in Bogalusa, LA. He served as a firefighter for District 7, volunteering for over twenty years. David married the late Carolyn Miley, and stepped up to raise her children as his own. As fate would have it, he remarried to Mrs. Deborah Miley, and also raised her children as a devoted father. He fought a hard fight and will forever be in our hearts and sadly missed.
David is survived by his wife: Deborah Miley; three step-sons: Jon Brandon (Shelly), Jason Romero (Chris), and David Penton (Courtney Burch); one step-daughter: Amber Penton; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard Miley and Dorothy Young; his grandparents: Wilford and Wanda Miley; a step-daughter: Michelle Brandon; and his first wife: Carolyn Miley.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was in charge of final arrangements. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
