Jesse Seth Harris, Jr.

Jesse Seth Harris, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Covington, LA. He was 78.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Seth Harris.
He is survived by his mother, Yolande Elton Harris, his siblings, Ray Harris, George Harris (Lisa), Margaret Mitcham (Robert), Lewis Harris (Lynn), Gary Harris, and Velma Bel (David) and also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Jesse was a native of New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Bush, LA for over 40 years, before moving to Bogalusa, LA. He proudly served his country in the U S Navy, and worked as a welder in the Oil field Industry.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00 am at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA and the visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Barker-McManus Cemetery.
