Patricia A. Garland, born on October 29, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on April 29, 2026, in Madisonville, Louisiana. She lived her life with kindness and warmth, always enjoying cooking up something special and spending treasured time with her granddaughter and family.
Patricia was a loving mother to her sons, Christopher Wade Smith (Nicole Knight) and Dillon Scott Smith (Victoria L. Smith). She cherished moments with her grandchild, Nova Smith, creating memories full of love and joy. Patricia’s family was important to her, and she shared a close bond with her siblings Danny Garland (Tracey), Roy Garland, and Marie Kingsmill (Harold Kingsmills), as well as her sister-in-law, Pat Garland.
She is preceded in death by her parents Oray "Ray" Garland and Beulah Adams Garland, as well as her brother, Murray Garland.
Patricia's life was one of simple pleasures and deep connections. She will be remembered fondly by her family and all who knew her for her caring spirit and the warmth she brought into every room.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation on Tuesday May 5, 2026 starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435. Burial to follow in the Adams Family Cemetery 24432 Ruebin Adams Cemetery Road Angie, Louisiana 70435.
