Molly L. Gonzales
August 12, 1949 - May 29, 2026
Molly L. Gonzales, age 76 and a former resident of Bogalusa, was born in New Hanover, NJ, on August 12, 1949 and passed away on May 29, 2026, in Mandeville, LA.
Molly was a true artist at heart, always creating beauty in the world around her. Her gift for transforming any space into a cozy haven made everyone feel right at home, and her thoughtful presents were like little treasures that made you feel truly special. With each visit, she turned her home into “Camp Gigi,” complete with inflatable playthings that delighted her grandkids. She captured life’s fleeting moments in her treasured photo albums, and her caramel macchiatos were a staple of her daily routine. Never without her lipstick, Molly’s radiant smile could light up any room and warm our hearts. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit and love will forever live on in us.
Molly is survived by her children Elizabeth Ann “Buffy” (Scott) Walker, Michael Raymond Gonzales, and Rebecca Marie (Ryan) Williams; grandchildren Gabriel Rolly Walker, Collins Raymond Walker, Brennen Raymond Gonzales, Zach John-Michael Gonzales, Timothy Peyton Gonzales, Jude Kimble Morgan, Barrett Russell Williams, and Bennett Raymond Williams; great grandchildren Alice Jessica Gonzales, and Anna Joy Gonzales.
Molly was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Gonzales Jr.; her parents Oliver McNutt and Emily Grinelle McNutt; and a brother Ed McNutt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 10:00a.m. until the funeral service time of 2:00p.m. Rev. Marcus Rosa and Bro. Scott Walker will officiate, and Entombment will be held at the Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons Gabriel Rolly Walker, Collins Raymond Walker, Brennen Gonzales, Zach John-Michael Gonzales, Timothy Peyton Gonzales, Jude Kimble Morgan, Barrett Russell Williams, and Bennett Raymond Williams.
The family would like to thank Brookdale Assisted living and Heritage Manor for caring and loving on mom. In lieu of flowers- we would love if you would visit someone in a health care facility, and maybe share a caramel macchiato with them.
