Farby "Fab" Burton, age 75 and of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She was born on July 29, 1950, in Mount Hermon, Louisiana, the daughter of Lester Tony Burton and Darious (Reed) Burton.
Fab is survived by her grandchildren, Domonique (Betsy) Nichols, Yul (Ericka) Gothard, Fredrica Brewer; brothers, Terry Burton, Gary Burton; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Burton; mother, Darious Burton; children, Terrill Gothard, Joseph Burton, Tasha Burton-Grayson-Brewer; grandchildren, Kelvette Holmes, Keyvlin Holmes, Latifa Carson; sisters, Delores Burton, Bobbie Burton-Trice, Mary Burton, Sylvia Burton-Davis-Maupins, Camphae Burton-Austin, Leatha Burton-Taylor; maternal grandparents, Toller and Lois Roberts Reed; and paternal grandparents, Lester and Lutish Burton.
Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service in Battle Creek, Michigan is in charge of arrangements.
