Tracy Boyd Schilling

September 3, 1967 - May 17, 2026

Tracy Boyd Schilling, age 58 and a resident of the Pine Community, passed away Sunday afternoon May 17, 2026 at Riverside Medical Center. He was a longtime truck driver, delivering wood chips and other forestry products to mills in the area for many years and he later drove for the Washington Parish Government for the road and construction crews. Tracy loved yard sales, flea markets and auctions and he liked to tinker on lawnmowers and old tractors. He enjoyed fishing and Bar-B-Ques and he was an excellent cook, especially his delicious chicken pie. Tracy had a kind heart and enjoyed helping his friends and other people with the projects they had. He was a member of the Washington Parish Volunteer Fire Department District 4 in Pine, and a big part of their service to the community for many years. Tracy had a big smile that will be remembered forever by his family and all that knew him.

Survived by: Wife: Barbara O’Bryant Schilling; 2 Sons: Trent James Schilling, Kenny Toney and Angela Morris; Granddaughter: Alexis Morris; 4 Great-grandchildren: Jamie Chetta, Gemma Chetta, Harmonee Morris, Briella Sherry; Sisters: Cathy Schilling, Dorothy Diane Schilling; 4 Brothers and Spouses: Bobby and Summer Schilling, Jerome and Annie Schilling, Anthony Levi and Marina Jenkins, Willie H. “Junior” and Melanie Jenkins; Brother in law and Sister in law: A.J. and Gloria O’Bryant; Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members

He was preceded in death by his father Omer Boyd Schilling, mother Peggy Johnson Jenkins, sister Robin Elizabeth Talley, father in law and mother in law Arlie and Elsie O’Bryant, sisters in law Jessie Mae Cox, Lillie Mae O’Bryant and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday May 21st from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Friday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Friday with Rev. Tommy Pittman and Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the McNeese Family Cemetery.
