Anita Creel Dryman
June 29, 1946 - April 28, 2026
Anita Creel Dryman, age 79 and a resident of the Clifton Community, passed away Tuesday night April 28, 2026 at her home. She was born in Mount Hermon on June 29, 1946. Anita owned a dairy, alongside her family, for many years and also milked for other dairyman around the area. She liked fishing and boat-riding in her earlier years, Anita enjoyed watching her favorite westerns and cooking shows on TV and she loved cooking for her family, with lasagna and chicken ‘n sausage gumbo being some of their favorites.
Survived by: 2 Sons: Randy Riley, Scott Riley both of Clifton; Grandchildren: Ervin Esco McNear, Jordan McNear, Bradley Christensen, Sasha McNear; Sister: Glenda Givens; Sisters in law: Jackie Smith, Charlotte June Bradford, Jonell Molaski; Nephews: Lucas and Angie Bradford, Mark and Cindy Givens and their families; Special Friends: Brenda and Tony Vanover, Ray Warren, Chrishelle and Chasty, Joe Delouise; Also numerous other nieces, nephews and other family members
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Paul Ervin Dryman, parents Bill Creel and Mae Fisher Creel, sister Emma Lou Smith, brother Bobby Joe Smith, daughter in law Candi Clark, father in law and mother in law Todd and Doris Dryman, special friend Ella Mae Warren and other family members.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday May 2nd in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Terrell officiating.
