Aramis Delon Brumfield

Aramis Delon Brumfield, age 46 and of Franklinton and Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026.
Aramis was born on March 17, 1980 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was raised in Bogalusa, where he spent his early years before moving to Las Vegas at the age of 17. There, he completed his education and began building a life marked by dedication, hard work, and resilience.
Aramis worked faithfully for the Las Vegas school system for 25 years, serving with commitment and pride until his health required him to retire early. After retiring, he returned home to Louisiana, where he settled in Franklinton and became a devoted member of Community Church.
Aramis was known for his love of family, his warm spirit, and the joy he found in spending time with those closest to him. Whether surrounded by family or friends, he brought laughter, comfort, and a presence that will truly be missed.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving mother, Gilda Magee; his father, Melvin Field; his sisters, Torra (Elbert) Magee of Franklinton, Louisiana, and Tiffani Martin of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his brothers, Kendrick (Connie) Magee of San Antonio, Texas, and Twentis Magee of South Carolina; his aunts, Ginger Bickham and Rhea Batiste of Franklinton, Louisiana, Alicia of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Kim of Alabama, and Velma of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his great-uncle, Oliver Brumfield, Sr. of California; his godparents, Darrin Parnell, Amanda Parnell, and Jodie Reece; his nieces, Lanatra Magee, Tierany Magee, Brittiani Martin, and Bethany Martin; his nephews, Levanti Magee, Martinez Magee, Demarius McCant, Twentis Magee, Jr., Ja’hari Martin, and King Martin; his great-niece, Laykin Magee; his great-nephew, Noah Magee; his uncle, Stanley Brumfield of New Orleans, Louisiana; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shadrach Brumfield and Margie Brumfield; Cecil and Mary Parnell; and Robert and Inez Field; his aunts, Betty Field and Mary Louise Foster; his uncles, Robert Field, Lionel Field, Arcel Field, and Jo Nathan Field; his brother, Bradley Morris; and his cousin, Rondy Vernon.
Aramis lived a life of strength, faith, and perseverance. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM followed by the funeral service at 1:00PM at Community Church 1148 North Columbia Street Covington, LA 70433 with Dr. A. Nathan Young - Pastor Officiating.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
