Shooting in Bogalusa Results in Woman's Arrest

On Sunday, March 15, 2026, at approximately 12:02 p.m., officers with the Bogalusa Police Department responded to the 500 block of Harlow Street following multiple reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who indicated that the shooting occurred in front of a residence in the area. During the investigation, officers recovered spent shell casings and obtained video footage capturing the incident.

Through witness statements and video evidence, investigators identified Adrianna L. Terrell (DOB: 02/25/2003) as the individual responsible for discharging a firearm toward a vehicle occupied by three individuals, including a five-year-old child. No injuries were reported.

At approximately 2:45 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at a nearby residence. Terrell was taken into custody without incident and later admitted to her involvement after being advised of her rights.

Terrell was transported to the Bogalusa City Jail, where she was booked on the charges of Attempted Second Degree Murder (3 counts) and Illegal Use of Weapons/Dangerous Instruments.
