Betty enjoyed cooking, listening to music, and working word-search puzzles. She treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Betty was also a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she found fellowship, strength, and spiritual nourishment.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton Johnson Jr.; her daughter, Vanessa Gail Johnson; her sisters, Mildred Mack and Janie Harris; her brother, James Peters; and her partner, Herman D. Williams.

A memorial service is planned for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, Aprill 11, in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel in Duncan, Oklahoma with Rev. Ronald Boyd, pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
