Ronald "Ronnie" Tetreau

June 3, 1952 - March 22, 2026

Ronald "Ronnie" Tetreau, age 73 and a resident of Franklinton, LA, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 22, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

Ronald was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church, Folsom, LA. He was also a member of Washington Parish Coroner’s Office, Northshore EMS, and was a former chief and member of Fire District 1 where he dedicated numerous years of service. As well as a true Marine Veteran who served his beloved country.

Survived by: Children and spouses: Joey and Rayne Tetreau, Chris Tetreau, Betty Catherine and Tyler Magee, Dakota and Sarah Tetreau, Kayne Tetreau, Konner Tetreau, Jean and Corin Weisbrodt; Grandchildren and spouses: Matthew and Grace Tetreau, Faith Tetreau, Jaycee Tetreau, Kenzie Tetreau, Dyeza Phelps, Blakes Phelps, Ian Phelps, Aiden Boudreaux, Kylie Tetreau, Remedy Talley, Braiden Smith, Easton Weisbrodt, Gavyn Weisbrodt; Great grandchild: Lawson Tetreau; Siblings and spouses: Peggy and Tracy Castleberry, Mona and Jim Boley, Denise and Vince Melancon; And numerous nieces, nephews and many friends

He was preceded in death by his son Kyle Tetreau, parents Arthur J. and Myrtis Newman Tetreau, paternal and maternal grandparents, a sister Susan Tetreau Pierce and daughter in law Krystal Gale Tetreau.

A special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and his nurse Leigh Bourne and his “girls” from the Coroner’s Office.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Shelby Garrett officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers: James Garrett, Paul Thibodeaux, Dennis Oalmann, Tommy Lofton

In lieu of flowers family prefers donations be made to American Cancer Society or St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
