Donna Sue Henley

Donna Sue Henley, age 66 and of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at her home on the Pearl River. She was born on October 31, 1959 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, to the late Joel and Bobbie King.
Donna worked in the Bogalusa public school system for a generous amount of time.
Donna, also known as “MawMaw”, was known for her fried fish and her feisty behavior. She loved everyone and treated the grandkids just like her own.
She is preceded in death by her mother Bobbie King, her father Joel King, and her sister Debra Hoehn.
Donna is survived by her husband John Henley, her daughter Stephanie Trahan (Donavan Trahan), her daughter Courtney Burge (Paul Burge), her son Charles Henley (Emily Henley), her grandchildren: Tyler Trahan, Jonathan Trahan, Callie Burge, Cailyn Burge, Charlea Henley, Easton Henley, great granddaughter Avery Trahan, and brother David King (Jauan King)
A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 10:00am – 1:00pm at Brown–McGehee Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 1PM. Interment will follow immediately at Pounds Cemetery.
