Geoffrey Scott Strahan

July 17, 1964 — February 4, 2026

Geoffrey Scott Strahan, a resident of Albany, passed at the age of 61 on February 4, 2026. He was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on July 17, 1964 to his parents Walter Dudley and Marjorie T. Strahan. He worked as a carpenter for many years and was a perfectionist of his craft – there wasn’t a project he couldn’t tackle. If it was to be done, he could do it. He was an avid automotive enthusiast and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. Most of all, Geoffrey loved to spend time with his family. His pride was in his family, especially his grandchildren or “Pawpaw’s babies.” A man of many talents and an abundance of love, he will be dearly missed by those that had the privilege to know and love him.

He is survived by his wife Susan Lorraine Lanford Strahan, children Nicholas Strahan, Tristan Strahan (Julie), and Taylor Fabre, brother Garlan Strahan, sister Gina Strahan, and grand-children Westan, Lincoln, Olivia, Griffin, Eli, and Rowan.

He is preceded in passing by his parents Walter Dudley and Marjorie T. Strahan, brothers Glenn Allen Strahan and Hugh Gregory Strahan, and grandparents Hubert Talley, Vernice Caves, Jack Strahan, and Velma Strahan.
