Billy Wayne Thomas went to his heavenly home on February 9, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born October 28, 1943, and was married to his loving wife since April 3, 1964.
Billy is survived by his wife, Elsie Elizabeth Young Thomas; daughters: Ximaena Thomas Ryan, Michelle Thomas Guillory; grandchildren: Sidney Rose Guillory Batson (Michael), Thomas James Ryan, Zackary John Guillory, Kathryn Alese Ryan, Adam Todd Guillory; great grandchildren: Evangeline Rose Batson and Clifton John Batson; and sister: Charline Thomas Herring (Jerry).
He is preceded in death by his parents: Marcus Sidney Thomas and Glady Ophelia Taylor Thomas; paternal grandparents: Rev. McCauley “Buck” Thomas and Ada Toney Thomas; maternal grandparents: James Taylor and Della Thomas Taylor; and grandchild: Taylor Elizabeth Ryan.
He was a long-time member at Ben’s Ford Baptist Church. Funeral visitation to be held Friday, February 13, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Ben’s Ford Baptist Church, 58521 Highway 439, Bogalusa, La. Funeral service to begin at 12:00 pm and interment will be at Thomas Cemetery.
