Robert "Kinky" Brock Miller, age 65 and of Ruston, Louisiana, passed away on January 27, 2026.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Gaylon Ray Miller; brother Danny Miller; and sister Wondra “Sissy” McMillan.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Miller; his daughter, Carrie Miller, and her partner, Jeff Liner; his son, Daniel Miller, and his partner, Stephanie Fernandez; his brother, Gaylon "Tiger" Miller and sister-in-law Charlotte Miller; nephews, Ronald Miller and partner Ashley Vidrine, Luke McMillan, and Jonathan McMillan; and his nieces, Danielle Gambrell and Amanda Miller, along with many great nieces and nephews.
Robert was a kind and loving man who deeply valued his family. He had a lifelong love for the outdoors and animals, and he enjoyed keeping busy with many hobbies. A skilled carpenter by trade, Robert took great pride in his work and craftsmanship.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Private First Class in the 82nd Airborne. A role that reflected his strength, dedication, and sense of duty.
A graveside service will be held on Friday Feb 6th, 2026 at 1:00 PM in Mt. Hermon, Louisiana, at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church.
Robert will be remembered for his generosity, his quiet strength, and the love he had for those around him.
