David Wayne Edwards
April 1, 1964 - January 20, 2026
David Wayne Edwards, age 61, passed away January 20, 2026, at his home. He was raised in the Ben’s Ford and Plainview Community and was a graduate of Mount Pleasant Christian Academy. David enjoyed many simple joys in his life, but his favorite were hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents: Agnes and Adrian Edwards, Jr.; one grandchild: Adrianna Grace Edwards; a sister: Leisha LaRuth Edwards Miller; and one nephew: Jason Patrick Miller.
David was preceded in death by his daughter: Jacquelyn “Nikki” Edwards; his paternal grandparents: Ruth and Adrian Edwards, Sr.; and his maternal grandparents: Betty and Seamon Thomas.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements and care. Visitation will start Monday, January 25, 2026, at 9AM until time of service at 11AM. Bro. Stanley Thomas will officiate funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date.
