Catherine M. 'Snookie' Holden Adams

November 2, 1943 — January 24, 2026

Catherine M. “Snookie” Holden Adams passed January 24, 2026 at the age of 82. She was surrounded by her family and peacefully passed at home after a long brave battle with Parkinsons. She was a resident of Franklinton, LA and a born native of Covington, LA.

Daughter of Vol J. Holden and mother Josephine S. “Doll” Holden. 

She is preceded in death by her son Emmett Scott Creel, sister Linda Holden Payne, bother James “Jimmy” Holden and life partner Bob Eason.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa C, Magee (Tommy) son Hubert Grant Creel (Sandra) and step-daughter Summer Allen (Ricky). Brothers Vol John Holden II and Hubert “Bubby” Holden. Grandchildren Miranda M. Willie (Jeff), Whitney M. Dupre (Larry), Corey Chaffman (Cassie), Emma S. Creel, Davin, Jayce and Caden Allen. Great Grandchildren Chesney and Cole Willie, Axel and Riggs Dupre, Trinity, Harmony and Holden Chaffman, Lylah, Easton and Carlee Burge.

She spent her life as a hairdresser and taking care of patients at Southeastern Mental Hospital. In retirement she enjoyed bowling and watching her great grandchildren play sports. She was a die hard LSU and Saints fan.

We know she is currently enjoying the golden gates of heavens Mardi Gras parades and dancing in the streets with all her favorite people she’s reunited with. She will be missed immensely by family and friends alike.

Services will be on February 4, 2026 at Bagnell & Sons Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.
