Bonnie Linda Lewis

December 29, 1949 - January 18, 2026

Bonnie Linda Lewis, age 76, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was a resident of Fair City Health and Rehab in Franklinton, LA.

After graduating from Enon High School in 1967, she earned a Registered Nursing degree from Pearl River Jr. College.

She is survived by a son, John E. “Jamie” Nastasi, Jr. and his wife, Kristine; and four grandchildren, Kathryn, Joseph, Sara and Rebecca, all of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by a brother, Dane (Shirley) Lewis; and a sister, Robin (Rev. Rick) Shields.   She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Charles D. and Betty Crain Lewis.

A private Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA. Officiating will be her brother-in-law, Rev. Rick Shields, assisted by Rev. Abel Herrera. Serving as Pallbearers will be, Joseph Nastasi, nephews, Will Galloway, Timothy Herrera, and Nathaniel Herrera.
