Suspect in Fatal Shooting Near Bogalusa in Custody

Monday (December 29, 2025) evening at 5 p.m., the Washington Parish Sheriff's Office received a call
regarding a fatal shooting off of North Jones Road outside of Bogalusa. Deputies immediately responded, but the suspect, Carley Provost II, had fled the scene and WPSO issued a BOLO, advising the suspect was armed and dangerous.

Late Monday evening, the WPSO advised the suspect was in custody.

No further details have been released.
