Friday (October 10, 2025) evening at 6:45 p.m., Washington Parish Deputies, along with Bogalusa Police Officers, responded to a call regarding a shooting involving two juveniles off Highway 439.
One juvenile was taken to Our Lady of the Angels in Bogalusa in critical condition, eventually passing away from sustained injuries.
The other juvenile involved has been identified, and the case remains under active investigation.
