Disturbance 1. Southwestern Gulf: Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue with a trough of low pressure moving westward across the Bay of Campeche. Some slow development of this system is possible before it moves inland over southern Mexico later today or early Thursday. Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent and formation chance through 7 days...low...10 percent.
Disturbance 2. No threat to our area, Tropical Storm Jerry is located about 835 miles ESE of the Northern Leeward Islands moving WNW at 23 MPH with 50 MPH maximum sustained winds. On the forecast track, the core of the system is expected to be near or to the north of the northern Leeward Islands late Thursday and Friday.
