Robert "Bob" Edward Lee Coleman, III

February 26, 1931 - October 23, 2025

   

Robert "Bob" Edward Lee Coleman, III, age 94 and a resident of the Enon Community passed away Thursday morning October 23, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in New Orleans on February 26, 1931 and had lived in Washington Parish for over 40 years. Bob was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War era. He was retired after a long career in pharmaceutical sales for Parke Davis. Bob enjoyed having fun in life and participated in many adventurous outdoor activities. He raced speed boats, collecting a few trophies along the way, and loved dirt bike riding in the woods and sandy gravel pits near his property. Bob had many older model sports cars through the years and liked riding his motorcycle. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survived by: Wife of 44 years: Cynthia Campo Coleman of Enon; 4 Sons and Daughters in law: Kevin and Rochelle Giroir of Destrehan, David and Tanya Giroir of Baton Rouge; Grandchildren and Spouses: Kevin Giroir, Jr, Kristin and Allen Rousel, Blair and Angele Boquet, David, II and Alayna Giroir, Ashton Hart, Riley Hart, Caden Hart; Also numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Lynn Giroir Hart, parents Robert E. L. Coleman, II and Loretta St. Martin Coleman, brothers Roy Coleman, Edward Coleman, sister Lois Coleman, father in law and mother in law Felix and Edna Campo and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday October 27th from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Monday with Rev. Brian Ridgedell officiating. Burial will follow in the Knight Memorial Gardens in Enon with military honors provided by American Legion Post 24 of Bogalusa.
