Nathaniel "Nay" Partman
November 13, 1939 - September 20, 2025
Nathaniel “Nay” Partman was born on November 13, 1939 to the late Eula and Charles Partman. Nathaniel resided in the community of Warnerton almost his entire life, and spent the last three days of his life at Good Samaritan Living Center. Nathaniel began working in the cotton fields at a young age, then later became a skilled mechanic and logger, and spent his later years working on small engines. Nathaniel married his wife, Mary Partman in September 1982, and was widowed in October 2019.
He leaves to cherish in his memories, two daughters; Marie Jefferson and Mary Jefferson of Franklinton, LA; five grandchildren, Zavion Jefferson, Marvin Jefferson, Erin Small, Ella Lewis, and Jerry Jefferson. In addition, he leaves behind four sisters, Dorothy Bickham, Corrine (Billy) Watson, Josephine (James) Warren, and Charlean (Royal) Brock; one brother-in-law, Robert Walter Jefferson; one sister-in-law, June Partman, as well as host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eula and Charles Partman; his wife, Mary Partman; three brothers, Johnnie Partman, Hezekiah Partman, James Partman, and Alfred Charles Partman; two sisters, Carrie Mae Hoskins and Ida Sibley; a son-in-law, Marvin; sisters-in-law, Bronice Hart, Mae Hoskins, and Shirley Partman; nephews, Kendrick Hart, Phillip Partman, C.H. Watson, Willie May, and one niece, Angela Sibley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James E. Bickham, Sr.
Crain and Sons – Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
