Mary Elizabeth Wright Crain, age 84 and a resident of Madisonville passed away Friday morning September 5, 2025 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a former longtime resident of Bogalusa, born in Franklinton on September 27, 1940. Complete obituary information will soon follow.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Monday September 8th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm Monday with Dr. Waylon Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or to the Music Ministry Department of First Baptist Church of Covington (16333 LA-1085, Covington, LA 70433).
