Our livestream of the the Washington Parish Council meeting today will begin meet around 5:30 PM. The Agenda includes
- a Public Hearing on an Ordinance amending the 2025Annual Operating Budget for WPG
- Rusty Fornea with ADAPT will address the Council
- consider the adoption of an Ordinance amending the 2025Annual Operating Budget for WPG
- consider 4 Resolutions: 1) a Resolution to Authorize the Parish President to Sign an Intergovernmental Agreement to Assist Bogue Lusa Waterworks for Mutual Aid in Emergent Situations. 2) a Resolution to Authorize the Parish President to Sign an Intergovernmental Agreement to Assist Varnado Waterworks for Mutual Aid in Emergent Situations. 3) a Resolution to Adopt a Joint Resolution of the Washington Parish Council and the Scenic Rivers Development Alliance. 4) A resolution to Declare Surplus and/or Scrap Movable Property and Authorization to Dispose of Same.
- Public Participation, the President's Report, and Council Discussion will follow before the Council adjourns.
