Disturbance 1. Eastern Caribbean Sea (AL99): A tropical wave over the eastern Caribbean Sea has become less organized since yesterday, and further development is not anticipated as it moves quickly westward during the next few days. Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent and formation chance through 7 days...low...near 0 percent.
Disturbance 2. Tropical Storm Fernand is no threat to our area as it moves NNE over the open Atlantic. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. On the forecast track, Fernand should move across the open waters of the subtropical central Atlantic well east and northeast of Bermuda. Weakening is expected to begin tonight, and Fernand is expected to become post-tropical on Wednesday.
