St. Tammany Parish Grand Jury Returns Three Indictments

District Attorney Collin Sims reports that on August 20, 2025, a St. Tammany Parish Grand Jury returned indictments in three separate cases.

  • Tara Dick (age 47) was indicted for the Second Degree Murder of her husband via strangulation. Slidell Police Department Detective Scott O’Shaughnessy was the lead investigator who handled the case.





  • Joseph Boatman (age 32) was indicted for the Second Degree Murder of his 21-month-old daughter Ansleigh Boatman.  Detective Jacob Schwebel of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office was the lead detective. Click here for previous story





  • Madeleine Lewis was indicted for one count of Theft over $25,000 for a series of monetary thefts from her former employer, Northlake Christian School. The District Attorney’s office handled the investigation and received meaningful cooperation from the school’s Board of Directors.
