Donald Wayne McNeese
June 6, 1943 - August 26, 2025
Donald Wayne McNeese, age 82 and a resident of Pine, passed away Tuesday morning August 26, 2025. He was a longtime dairy farmer beginning his career as just a teenager. Donald worked alongside Phillip Creel and Billy Simmons in the dairy business for a time and later milked and farmed for Huey Flynt, Ray and Steven Branch for many years. He always loved taking care of the cows, farming the land and baling hay. Donald liked gardening and taking care of his own livestock, especially his pigs. He enjoyed visiting with people he would meet, and always asked “Who are you”, no matter how well he knew you or if he had just met. He will be sadly missed by his family and others that knew him.
Survived by: 4 Sons and Daughters in law: Jeffery Wayne and Mildred McNeese, Donald Steven and Angela McNeese, William Ladon “Bill” and Shone McNeese, Eldridge Scott McNeese; Numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Brother: John David McNeese; Sisters and Brothers in law: Edna Thomas, Gilda Faye Passman, Julie and Walter Guchereau, Sharon and Billy Simmons; Special Friends: Margie Seals, her son Brian and his family; Also numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by sons Joseph Michael “Jody” McNeese, Marvin Randall “Randy” McNeese, mother of his children Elouise Jones, parents Archie McNeese and Alice Beall McNeese, brother Elmo McNeese, an infant brother Joseph Michael McNeese, sisters and brothers in law Mildred and Eld. Douglas Stuart, Marlene and Eddie Fitzmorris, brother in law Eld. Willie J. Passman, former wife Kathy Mizell McNeese, special friend Sam Ford and other family members.
A graveside funeral service will be held in the War Crain Cemetery on Esco Crain Road at 10:00 am Saturday August 30th with Rev. Keith Branch officiating.

Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton, Louisiana is in charge of arrangements.
