William Allen Helton

October 6, 1960 - August 9, 2025

William Allen Helton, age 64, was born in Bogalusa, LA on October 6, 1960, passed away at his residence in Bogalusa, LA on August 9, 2025.  Allen enjoyed watching football games.  He was loved by everyone with his laid-back personality and considered all his best friend.  Family prayer with his loved ones was his absolute most favorite thing in the world.

Allen is survived by his wife of 34 years Lisa Kuhn Helton of Bogalusa, LA; children Chad Helton (Richelle) of TX, Jesse Helton of Bogalusa, LA, Callie Helton of Bogalusa, LA, Juanita Garcia of Bogalusa, LA, and Amanda Boone of Bogalusa, LA; a sister Tammy Fornea (Charlie) of Varnado, LA; grandchildren Shallon Jones (Jabryson) and Chaston Freeman; great-grandchildren Emmanuel and Selah Jones; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Helton is preceded in death by his parents Nelson J. Helton and Opal Penton Helton; 1 son Jason Boone; a sister Vicky Helton Pounds; 2 brothers Charles Helton and Tommy Helton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home beginning at 10:00a.m. and will continue until the service time of 2:00p.m.  Interment will take place at Isabel Cemetery following the funeral service.
