Join the LSU AgCenter for a series of five classes designed to help you cultivate a thriving garden and healthy lawn.
Class schedule:
- September 9 - Vegetables and Herbs
- September 16 – Fruits
- September 23 – Ornamental Landscape Plants
- September 30 – Lawns
- October 7 – Soil, Fertilizer, and Composting
Classes will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Lee Memorial Forest Main Lodge (21139 Lee Memorial Drive, Franklinton; across Dollar Road from Our Veterans Memorial Park and the Washington Parish Communications building).
Classes are free to attend, but pre-registration is requested. To register or learn more, please contact Horticulture Agent Dr. Mary Helen Ferguson (mhferguson@agcenter.lsu.edu or 985-277-1850).
