Jessica "Jess" Lynn Creel Stogner
December 2, 1987 - June 13, 2025
Jessica “Jess” Lynn Creel Stogner, age 37, gained her angel wings on Friday, June 13, 2025, at her residence in Texas. She was born in Jackson, MS, but grew up in Angie, LA. She is a 2006 graduate of Varnado High School. Jess had a big personality and loved to make people laugh. She was always willing to help anyone in need regardless of the situation.
Jess’ loving spirit is carried on by her three boys: Landon Gornor, Kevin Layne Stogner, and Lukas Mayfield; her significant other: Julius Quillen; her mother: Tena Creel; a grandmother: Bessie Carter Ashwell (Thomas Ashwell); one sister: Amy Creel (Gary Adams); two nephews: Cameron and Christian Thomas; a goddaughter: Jeslyn NeSmith; and a long-time family friend: Dedra Thibodeaux; and many more family and friends.
Preceding her in peace is Mr. Michael Mayfield, Mr. BJ Carter, Mr. Charles Millis, Mr. Freddie Millis, Ms. Gayle Ashyen “GiGi”, and Nickelous "Nick" Woodard.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will start Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 5PM until time of service at 7PM.
