March 17, 1967 - May 2, 2025

William Edward "Eddie" Phelps, age 58 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away Friday morning May 2, 2025 at University Medical Center in New Orleans following a brief illness. He was a hard worker all his life, in construction building houses and most recently tree cutting along right-of-ways all over the area. Earlier in life, he loved fast sports cars. He was always a very friendly person, greeting and visiting with everyone he met. Eddie loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all that knew him well.
