Ralph Wiedman Swanner

June 26, 1961 - May 20, 2025

With joyous hearts and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Ralph Swanner, who departed from this world on May 20, 2025, at the age of 63, after a brief illness. Ralph was born on June 26, 1961, and spent much of his life in the vibrant community of Bogalusa, LA. He was a devoted member of End Time Jesus Ministries Church, a place where he found peace and purpose among his fellow worshippers.

Ralph's passion for music began at the tender age of nine when he picked up the guitar—a lifelong love that brought happiness to many through his soulful playing. He found great joy in performing gospel music, often delighting friends and family with his rendition of a beloved song written by his late grandmother, Martha. Ralph derived immense pleasure from attending church services and sharing treasured moments with his family, showcasing his generous spirit and loving nature.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Martha Taylor (Casey); two grandsons, Mitchell Faircloth and Nicholas Faircloth (Zoe); one great-grandchild: Chloe Faircloth; his beloved sister, Ruby Avent, and her fiancé, Anthony Odom; sister Lisa Swanner; brother Patrick Swanner; his father, Tincy Swanner; step-father Gilbert King; and a special friend, Richard Shane Miller. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Murphy; sister Donna Swanner; brother Greg King; maternal grandparents Claude and Martha Day; and paternal grandparents Jodi and Alice Swanner.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Ralph's remarkable life will be held on May 23, 2025, starting at 10AM until time of service at 1PM at End Time Jesus Ministries located at 1040 Avenue E Bogalusa, LA. We invite all who knew and loved Ralph to join us in this joyous gathering, where we will remember and share stories that reflect his kind spirit and the love he so freely gave. Sister Judy Jones will officiate funeral service. Interment will immediately follow at Providence Baptist Church in Jayess, MS.
