Suspect Sought in Kentwood-Area Homicide

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 32 year-old Willie Elzy Wells, Jr., a suspect in an overnight murder in the Kentwood area. Wells is wanted on one count each of 1st Degree Murder, Armed Robbery and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Just before 1 a.m. Saturday (April 5, 2025) morning, a shooting was reported at a home in the 26000 block of Mount Hennan Cut Road in the Kentwood area. Antonio Famularo, age 42 and a resident of the home, was found dead on the scene.

During the investigation, detectives determined the incident stemmed from a drug-related dispute and that Wells was the suspect in the case. Deputies are actively trying to locate him and could use the public’s help to track him down and take him into custody in connection with this crime.
