The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a potential victim as well as a person of interest in an active homicide investigation.
Around 1 p.m. today (April 3, 2025), TPSO was requested to conduct a welfare check on a home on Eastwood Drive in the Amite area. When deputies arrived, they found a woman dead inside of the home.
Two male residents of the home are unaccounted for and are being sought: 1) Marc Brocato, age 75, is 6 feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be a potential victim and possibly in danger; 2) Joshua Brocato, age 34, is 5’9” weighing around 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is a person of interest in this crime. Joshua Brocato is traveling in a white 2014 Ford utility van with a last known location in Lafayette earlier this week.
